The beautiful town of Bergen is located between Egmond aan Zee and Schoorl. It is a nice, large village 5 kilometers from the sea with many sights, restaurants and cafes. In Bergen you can visit Egmond Castle, go to the Sea Aquarium in Bergen aan Zee and experience culture in the historical museum Het Sterkenhuis.
What makes Bergen so nice are the chic boutiques and cozy terraces, but also the beautiful shops and on Saturdays the goods market around the Ruïnker. Then you can enjoy a nice meal in the evening at one of the many restaurants in Bergen. Something for everyone!

Bergen has a rich nature and is therefore a wonderful place for walking and cycling in the surrounding dunes and forests.

A fun fact is that many artists lived in the village in the past, and you can still see a lot of them today. The Art 10 Days takes place every year in October. During this event, the village is flooded with artists for 10 days. Everything revolves around art these days. Think of special exhibitions, artistic walks, workshops and art auctions. A beautiful village where art, culture and nature come together.
