A lesson in showing colours
Last week Laurens and Sven received a lesson in showing their colors from Nikki. With a number of color fans, Nikki explained that the men had to choose a color family. A color family is a group of colors that are mutually different. Actually just like a real family: everyone has the same surname but a slightly different character!
Laurens had chosen the green color family. You can combine this color well in a home with furniture and accessories that are natural in color or in an industrial interior to take away the harshness.
Tip from Nikki for color in the home
What should you pay attention to when choosing colors for your home? Nikki says that most people find it exciting to choose a color for the wall. The choice is often made to paint the smallest wall in the living room a color, but do you really want to be cool and want something slightly different in your home? Then simply paint all your walls in beautiful soft colors. Choose a grayed green, blue or sand color. This way your home becomes one whole and your furniture looks even more beautiful. This feels like a warm blanket around you.
