Think carefully about a good offer

Buying a house is not something you do every day, so that is reason enough to think carefully about your offer. Our advice? Consider how much you want to offer on the home, including additional conditions. The offer must be feasible for you as a buyer and must be submitted within the specified time. Does the offer come in too late? Then there is a good chance that it will not be included. Tip: check in advance when you have time to send in the registration form with the bid.

Do something crazy and stand out!

Is the asking price of your dream house €200.000 and do you want to make an offer? Do something crazy! Is the house number of the house 169? Then make it a bid with this figure included, for example €210.169. This is slightly more noticeable than a round amount.

The house is in good hands

Did you know that the favorable factor in an offer is often decisive for the seller? So put effort into chatting with the sellers during the viewing. For example, ask why they are putting their beautiful home up for sale. In addition, a personal note in the bidding process can also help. Selling the home is often an emotional moment for the seller, so a sympathetic offer (with a story) often works well. Tell the seller why you want to live in the house so much and what you like so much about the neighborhood. Be creative!

The additional conditions

You have come up with a creative offer, had a good chat with the seller and applied that personal touch, but is that enough? Almost! The additional conditions are also important. You have to imagine that it differs per seller as to what conditions they consider important. This could be: a quick transfer of the home or a flexible attitude because the seller does not yet have another home. Tip: ask about this during the viewing. This way you can take this into account and you have an advantage over other buyers!
