Valuation when buying a home

When you are going to buy a home and apply for a mortgage. In most cases, the bank or financial institution will then ask for a valuation report. This appraisal report is necessary to determine the value of the home in relation to the mortgage to be applied for.

Valuation for transferring your mortgage

It is sometimes advantageous to transfer your mortgage if you pay a high mortgage interest rate. This can easily yield hundreds of euros per year. Your bank or financial institution does require a valuation report to transfer your mortgage. Your bank or financial institution wants to know the appraised value of the home.

Appraisal for a sales decision

An appraisal gives you a better idea of ​​the true value of your home. And you can make a better informed decision whether or not to sell your home. Valuation of new construction from drawing

Have you purchased a building plot and do you want to apply for a mortgage for the plot and the costs of building the new home? You can also contact us then. Valuation for a renovation of your home

What is often requested is an appraisal report with a market value before and after renovation. Valuation for objecting to the WOZ value

You will usually receive the WOZ decision in the first quarter of the year. WOZ stands for Real Estate Act. You will receive this if you own a home. If you do not agree with the amount of the WOZ assessment, you can file an objection. To properly substantiate this objection, you can provide a valuation report.

Valuation upon divorce

If you find yourself in a situation where you are getting a divorce, you naturally want to settle this properly. With an independent appraisal, you both know the actual market value of the home and you can use this for further settlement. This may also be necessary if one of the two continues to live in the home and the other buys out.

NWWI valuation

The Dutch Housing Value Institute, the NWWI, validates (approves) reports of home valuations from affiliated appraisers and ensures that each valuation is drawn up uniformly and according to clear guidelines. Lenders, intermediaries and consumers thus receive clear, objective and reliable home appraisals that provide insight into how the appraised value was arrived at.
